How will Obama stop drug addicts and criminals from getting firearms?

If he becomes President, and supposedly he will have all the guns that people own melted down and destroyed, will he make sure that all of the ghettos of America and all the convicted criminals who have firearms put into prison when regular citizens will no longer be able to protect themselves in situations where the police won't be there every time? Your right, Windseek, they should have. Its not my fault they chose not to have protection.

Gun control laws only affect the innocent law-abiding people who are willing to follow them who then become unarmed victims. Criminals will continue to carry guns.
