The author Raymond Chandler has 3 rules, his "absolutes', for writing successful crime novels: ?
never take advice, never show or discuss work in progress, and never answer a critic. Would these have been 3 good rules for the authors of Collins submarine computerization project software ?

- Don't know about Collins Sub software, but wasn't he also the guy who said, "When things get dull, people (characters) start dying?" Maybe Collins Sub should subscribe to this idea.
- I'd like to know where Chandler said this. The only dictum of his I remember is "When in doubt, have a man come through the door with a loaded gun." They are probably good guidelines for someone who is in command of himself as fully as Raymond Chandler was 1938-1948 and is as talented. Otherwise, I doubt they are such wonderful rules.
